9   AN ACT TO AMEND THE LAW CONCERNING ROBBERY AND

10  AGGRAVATED ROBBERY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

14                       TO AMEND THE LAW CONCERNING ROBBERY AND

15                       AGGRAVATED ROBBERY.

17 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:

19  SECTION 1. Arkansas Code � 5-12-102(a), concerning the offense of

20 robbery, is amended to read as follows:

21  (a) A person commits robbery if, with the purpose of committing a

22 felony or misdemeanor theft or resisting apprehension immediately after

23 committing a felony or misdemeanor theft, the person employs or threatens to

24 immediately employ physical force, or creates a circumstance that would cause

25 a reasonable person to believe the use of physical force is imminent, upon

26 another person.
