11 DISABILITY TO PRESENT IDENTIFICATION; AND FOR OTHER
12 PURPOSES.

21 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:

23 SECTION 1. Arkansas Code � 7-5-310(b)(2)(B), concerning who may assist
24 voters with disabilities at the polling machine, is amended to read as
25 follows:
26 (B) A person named by the voter who:
27 (i) Is present in the polling site;
28 (ii) 1s eighteen (18) years of age or older; and
29 (iii) Presents a document or identification card
30 that meets the requirements established by the State Board of Election
31 Commissioners.

33 SECTION 2. Arkansas Code � 7-5-310(b)(5), concerning assisting voters
34 with disabilities, is amended to read as follows:
35 (5)(A) It shall be the duty of the poll workers at the polling
36 site to make and maintain a list of the names and addresses of all persons

1 assisting voters.
2 (B) The list shall contain the name of the assistor as it
3 appears on the document or identification card presented by the assistor
4 under subdivision (b)(2)(B)(iii) of this section.

6 SECTION 3. Arkansas Code � 7-5-310, concerning assisting voters
7 with disabilities, is amended to add an additional subsection to read as
8 follows:
9 (d) The State Board of Election Commissioners shall promulgate rules
10 concerning the required documents or identification necessary to assist a
11 voter with a disability under subdivision (b)(2)(B)(iii) of this section.
