18 FISHING LICENSES; AND TO AUTHORIZE THE

20 TO ISSUE TO CERTAIN NONRESIDENTS A
21 HUNTING OR FISHING LICENSE FOR THE COST
22 OF A RESIDENT LICENSE.

24 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:

26 SECTION 1. Arkansas Code Title 15, Chapter 42, Subchapter 1, is
27 amended to add an additional section to read as follows:
28 15-42-131. Nonresidents who graduated from Arkansas schools.
29 The Arkansas State Game and Fish Commission is authorized to issue a
30 nonresident a hunting or fishing license or a combination license for the
31 same fee charged to an Arkansas resident for the same type of hunting or
32 fishing license or combination license if the nonresident:
33 (1) Graduated from a public, private, or home school in
34 Arkansas; and
35 (2) Is actively pursuing a higher education degree in another
36 state.
