9             AN ACT TO AMEND THE LAW CONCERNING CERTAIN REPORTS OF

10            THE SECRETARY OF THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND

11            ADMINISTRATION; TO REPEAL THE LAW REQUIRING THE

12            SECRETARY OF THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND

13            ADMINISTRATION TO SUBMIT A REPORT CONCERNING

14            ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

18                       TO REPEAL THE LAW REQUIRING THE

19                       SECRETARY OF THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE

20                       AND ADMINISTRATION TO SUBMIT A REPORT

21                       CONCERNING ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES.

23 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:

25  SECTION 1. Arkansas Code � 3-2-205(e)(3), concerning the powers and

26 duties of the Secretary of the Department of Finance and Administration with

27 respect to the administration and enforcement of alcoholic beverage laws, is

28 repealed.

29            (3) The secretary shall make a biennial report to the Governor

30 and the General Assembly of his or her activities for the past year, which

31 shall include statistics as to the amount of vinous (except wines),

32 spirituous, or malt liquors manufactured in the State of Arkansas and the

33 disposition thereof; the increase or decrease in their consumption over the

34 preceding year; the amount of taxes and permit fees collected; and such other

35 information as he or she deems advisable.
