9   AN ACT TO AMEND THE LAW CONCERNING CERTAIN REPORTS OF

10  OCCUPATIONAL LICENSING ENTITIES; TO REPEAL THE LAW

11  REQUIRING OCCUPATIONAL LICENSING ENTITIES TO SUBMIT A

12  REPORT CONCERNING THE NUMBER OF INDIVIDUALS GRANTED

13  AUTOMATIC OCCUPATIONAL LICENSURE AND EXPEDITED

14  OCCUPATIONAL LICENSURE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

18                       TO REPEAL THE LAW REQUIRING OCCUPATIONAL

19                       LICENSING ENTITIES TO SUBMIT A REPORT

20                       CONCERNING THE NUMBER OF INDIVIDUALS

21                       GRANTED AUTOMATIC OCCUPATIONAL LICENSURE

22                       AND EXPEDITED OCCUPATIONAL LICENSURE.

24 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:

26  SECTION 1. Arkansas Code � 17-4-110 is amended to read as follows:

27  17-4-110. Responsibilities of occupational licensing entities.

28  An occupational licensing entity shall:

29  (1) Submit proposed rules authorized under � 17-4-106 to the

30 Administrative Rules Subcommittee of the Legislative Council for review and

31 approval before the proposed rules are promulgated under the Arkansas

32 Administrative Procedure Act, � 25-15-201 et seq.;

33  (2) If the proposed rules are not approved as required under �

34 17-4-109, provide automatic occupational licensure to an individual listed in

35 � 17-4-104; and

36  (3) Post prominently on the occupational licensing entity's

1 website a link entitled "Military Member Licensure" that directly leads to

2 information applicable to an individual listed in � 17-4-104; and

3   (4) Provide to the House Committee on Aging, Children and Youth,

4 Legislative and Military Affairs an annual report stating the number of

5 individuals granted automatic occupational licensure and expedited

6 occupational licensure under this chapter.
