17 TO REPEAL THE REQUIREMENT THAT THE RURAL
18 SERVICES DIVISION OF THE ARKANSAS
19 ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION SUBMIT A
20 BIENNIAL REPORT CONCERNING THE
21 ACTIVITIES OF THE DIVISION.

23 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:

25 SECTION 1. Arkansas Code � 15-6-106(c), concerning the functions,
26 powers, and duties of the Rural Services Division of the Arkansas Economic
27 Development Commission, is repealed.
28 (c) The division shall prepare and submit biennially on January 1 a
29 comprehensive report concerning the assistance activities undertaken by the
30 division, any recommendations for legislative proposals, data concerning
31 program activities in rural areas, and other pertinent information which will
32 indicate the activities conducted by the division in the previous biennium.
