9   AN ACT TO AMEND THE LAW CONCERNING CERTAIN REPORTS OF

10  THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION; TO

11  REPEAL THE LAW REQUIRING THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE

12  AND ADMINISTRATION TO SUBMIT A REPORT CONCERNING THE

13  ACTIVITIES OF THE MULTISTATE TAX COMMISSION AND

14  ARKANSAS'S PARTICIPATION IN THE ACTIVITIES OF THE

15  COMMISSION; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

19                       TO REPEAL THE LAW REQUIRING THE

20                       DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION

21                       TO SUBMIT A REPORT CONCERNING THE

22                       ACTIVITIES OF THE MULTISTATE TAX

23                       COMMISSION AND ARKANSAS'S PARTICIPATION

24                       IN THE ACTIVITIES OF THE COMMISSION.

26 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:

27

28  SECTION 1. Arkansas Code � 26-5-109 is repealed.

29  26-5-109. Annual Multistate Tax Commission report.

30  (a) The Department of Finance and Administration shall prepare an

31 annual report detailing the activities of the Multistate Tax Commission and

32 Arkansas's participation in the activities of the commission.

33  (b) The report required under this section shall:

34  (1) Include without limitation the recommendations of the

35 commission and any activity on Arkansas's behalf by representatives of the

36 department; and

1           (2) Be filed with the President Pro Tempore of the Senate and

2 the Speaker of the House of Representatives no later than September 30 or the

3 next regular business day if September 30 falls on a weekend or legal

4 holiday.
