17 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:

19 SECTION 1. Arkansas Code Title 20, Chapter 9, Subchapter 1, is amended
20 to add an additional section to read as follows:
21 20-9-106. Dialysis centers -- Generators required.
22 (a) As used in this section, "dialysis center" means a healthcare
23 facility that furnishes outpatient dialysis services directly to patients
24 with renal disease.
25 (b) A dialysis center operating in this state shall have at least one
26 (1) backup generator on site.
