9   AN ACT TO AMEND THE COMPOSITION OF THE ARKANSAS

10  MEDICAID DRUG UTILIZATION REVIEW BOARD TO INCLUDE

11  PHYSICIAN ASSISTANTS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

15                       TO AMEND THE COMPOSITION OF THE ARKANSAS

16                       MEDICAID DRUG UTILIZATION REVIEW BOARD

17                       TO INCLUDE PHYSICIAN ASSISTANTS.

19 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:

21  SECTION 1. Arkansas Code � 20-77-143(c)(2), concerning the individuals

22 appointed to the Arkansas Medicaid Drug Utilization Review Board, is amended

23 to read as follows:

24  (2) The individuals appointed under subdivision (c)(1) of this

25 section shall be:

26                       (A) Either physicians Physicians, physician assistants, or

27 advanced practice registered nurses;

28                       (B) Licensed and practicing in this state; and

29                       (C) Currently treating rare diseases or conditions.
