17 AND PUBLIC SCHOOL LIFE AND HEALTH
18 INSURANCE PROGRAM; AND TO AMEND THE
19 POWERS AND DUTIES OF THE DIRECTOR OF THE
20 EMPLOYEE BENEFITS DIVISION.

22 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:

24 SECTION 1. Arkansas Code � 21-5-406(e)(3), concerning the authority of
25 the Director of the Employee Benefits Division, is amended to add an
26 additional subdivision to read as follows:
27 (F) The director may cooperate with the United States
28 Government in matters of mutual concern pertaining to federally funded
29 programs related to the Employee Benefits Division, including without
30 limitation Medicare.
