19 GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE YEARS OF SERVICE
20 REMAINING BEFORE REACHING THE LIMITATION
21 ON SERVICE UNDER THE ARKANSAS
22 CONSTITUTION.

24 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:

26 SECTION 1. Arkansas Code Title 10, Chapter 2, Subchapter 1, is amended
27 to add an additional section to read as follows:
28 10-2-135. Notification of service time remaining for member of General
29 Assembly.
30 No later than thirty (30) days following the certification of a
31 candidate as the winner of an election for the office of member of the
32 General Assembly, the Secretary of State shall notify the candidate of how
33 many years the member may serve in the General Assembly before reaching the
34 limitation on service applicable to the candidate under Arkansas
35 Constitution, Amendment 73, � 2.
