19 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:

21 SECTION 1. Arkansas Code � 6-23-1005 is amended to read as follows:
22 6-23-1005. Funding.
23 (a) Funding for an adult education charter school shall not be
24 provided through the Division of Career and Technical Education Public School
25 Fund Account of the Public School Fund.
26 (b) Funding for an adult education charter school may come from public
27 or private sources, including from the eligible entity that operates an adult
28 education charter school.
29 (c)(1) An adult education charter school shall receive per student a
30 funding amount equal to the per-pupil foundation funding amount established
31 under � 6-20-2305.
32 (2) An adult education charter school that receives funding
33 under this section shall submit a report annually to the Division of
34 Elementary and Secondary Education and the Legislative Council that includes:
35 (A) Data on graduation rates of students attending the
36 adult education charter school; and

1 (B) Employment rates of students who were enrolled in the
2 adult education charter school.
3 (3) The funding provided under this section shall be reviewed
4 annually based upon a review of the report under subdivision (c)(2) of this
5 section.
