12 TO REMOVE THE REQUIREMENT TO PROVIDE STATUS OF UNITED
13 STATES DRUG ENFORCEMENT ADMINISTRATION CERTIFICATES;
14 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

24 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:

26 SECTION 1. Arkansas Code � 17-95-107(b)(2)(A), concerning the
27 definition of "credentialing information" that the Arkansas State Medical
28 Board can provide to credentialing organizations, is amended to read as
29 follows:
30 (A) Information regarding a physician's:
31 (i) Professional training, qualifications,
32 background, practice history, and experience, for example, status of medical
33 license;
34 (ii) Clinical hospital privileges;
35 (iii) Status of United States Drug Enforcement
36 Administration certificate;

1 (iv) Education, training, and board certification;
2 (v)(iv) Work history;
3 (vi)(v) Current malpractice coverage;
4 (vii)(vi) History of professional liability or
5 malpractice claims;
6 (viii)(vii) Drug or alcohol abuse to the extent
7 permitted by law;
8 (ix)(viii) History of board appearances;
9 (x)(ix) Loss, surrender, restriction, or suspension
10 of license;
11 (xi)(x) Felony convictions;
12 (xii)(xi) History of loss or limitation of
13 privileges or disciplinary activity;
14 (xiii)(xii) Attestation of the correctness and
15 completeness of the application; and
16 (xiv)(xiii) History of Medicare or Medicaid or other
17 sanctions; and
