15 DOMESTIC ABUSE ACT OF 1991.

17 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:

19 SECTION 1. Arkansas Code � 9-15-219(a)(1)(A), concerning the
20 definition of "course of control" under the Domestic Abuse Act of 1991, is
21 amended to read as follows:
22 (A) "Course of control" means a pattern of behavior
23 between family or household members that in purpose or effect unreasonably
24 interferes with the free will and personal liberty of a person.

26 SECTION 2. Arkansas Code � 9-15-219(a)(2)(B), concerning the
27 definition of "disturbing the peace" under the Domestic Abuse Act of 1991, is
28 amended to read as follows:
29 (B) "Disturbing the peace" includes without limitation:
30
31 (i) Exhibiting course of control;
32 (ii) Stalking;
33 (iii) Repeatedly threatening;
34 (iv) Criminal impersonation;
35 (v) Verbally or electronically harassing or
36 telephoning with the intent to harass;

1 (vi) Harassing through surveillance;
2 (vii) Destroying personal property; and
3 (viii) Criminal trespass.
