17 FIRE SERVICES; AND TO UPDATE THE
18 SCHEDULE OF EQUIPMENT RATES USED IN
19 CLAIMS FOR FIRE SERVICES.

21 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:

23 SECTION 1. Arkansas Code � 14-53-102(b)(1)(C)(iii), concerning
24 firefighting beyond municipal limits and claims for services, is amended to
25 read as follows:
26 (iii) The board shall use the Schedule of Equipment
27 Rates published by the Federal Emergency Management Agency of the United
28 States Department of Homeland Security, as in effect on January 1, 2013.

30 SECTION 2. Arkansas Code � 20-22-901(b)(2)(C)(iii), concerning a
31 volunteer fire department's duty to respond to fires and claims for services,
32 is amended to read as follows:
33 (iii) The board shall use the Schedule of Equipment
34 Rates published by the Federal Emergency Management Agency of the United
35 States Department of Homeland Security, as in effect on January 1, 2013.
