18 PREVENTION COURSE FOR THE ISSUANCE OF A
19 COMMERCIAL DRIVER LICENSE.

21 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:

23 SECTION 1. Arkansas Code � 27-23-108(e), concerning commercial driver
24 license qualification standards, is repealed.
25 (e) Human Trafficking Prevention Training.
26 (1) A person may be issued a Class A commercial driver license
27 only if he or she:
28 (A) Completes a human trafficking prevention course
29 administered by the division or by a third party approved by the division to
30 present a human trafficking prevention course under regulations promulgated
31 as provided in this section; or
32 (B) Becomes a Certified Trucker Against Trafficking by
33 completing the online certification course offered by Truckers Against
34 Trafficking and provides evidence of completion to the Department of Finance
35 and Administration with his or her application for a commercial driver
36 license under � 27-23-110.

1 (2) A person who currently holds a Class A commercial driver
2 license is not required to comply with this subsection when applying for
3 renewal of the commercial driver license as required by � 27-23-111(g) so
4 long as he or she has completed the human trafficking prevention training
5 required under subdivision (e)(1) of this section at least once.
