11         CONNECTED WITH THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA AND ITS

12         GOVERNING COMMUNIST PARTY OF CHINA; AND FOR OTHER

13         PURPOSES.

17                       TO LIMIT THE INVESTMENT OF ARKANSAS'S

18                       PENSION AND RETIREMENT SYSTEM FUNDS IN

19                       ENTITIES CLOSELY CONNECTED WITH THE

20                       PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA AND ITS

21                       GOVERNING COMMUNIST PARTY OF CHINA.

23 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:

25         SECTION 1. The purpose of this act is to limit the investment of

26 Arkansas's pension and retirement system funds in entities closely connected

27 with the People's Republic of China and its governing Communist Party of

28 China.
