12        REQUIRE SURVEYORS TO TAKE CERTAIN ACTIONS BEFORE

13        ENTERING ONTO A COMMERCIAL POULTRY FARM; AND FOR

14        OTHER PURPOSES.

22 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:

24        SECTION 1. Arkansas Code Title 17, Chapter 48, Subchapter 3, is

25 amended to add an additional section to read as follows:

26        17-48-305. Surveyor entry onto commercial poultry farm.

27        (a) As used in this section, "commercial poultry farm" means a poultry

28 operation with a poultry house or poultry houses in excess of five thousand

29 square feet (5,000 sq. ft.).

30        (b) Before a surveyor enters onto a commercial poultry farm to survey

31 either the commercial poultry farm or a property adjacent to the commercial

32 poultry farm, the surveyor shall:

33        (1) Notify the owner of the commercial poultry farm before

34 entering; and

35        (2) Follow all protocols required by the commercial poultry farm

36 for visitors at the time of access, including without limitation biosecurity
