What it does
This act: (1) continues the existence and functioning of the Board of Examiners of Assisted Living Administrators pursuant to the Alabama Sunset Law until October 1, 2028; and (2) amends Section 34-2A-3, Code of Alabama 1975, to provide that if a nominating entity does not submit nominees for a vacant position on the board within 45 days of the vacancy, the Governor shall appoint a board member within 45 days of the appointing authority failing to make an appointment.
