This act amends Section 43-8-253, Code of Alabama 1975, to: (1) prohibit individuals convicted of elder abuse and neglect or financial exploitation of an elderly person from receiving any benefits under the abused or exploited elder's will or intestate succession; (2) provide that individuals convicted of elder abuse and neglect or financial exploitation of an elderly person loses his or her interest in any real property or bank account jointly held with the abused or exploited elder; (3) prohib
