What it does

This act amends Section 22-27-3, Code of Alabama 1975, to add households whose sole source of income is veterans' benefits to those households exempt from paying solid waste collection fees, subject to counties and municipalities authorizing this exemption therein for these households whose income is above the current federal poverty level.
