What it does
This act amends Sections 40-26B-21 and 40-26B-26, Code of Alabama 1975, to: (1) to remove all statutorily provided sunset dates for the supplemental privilege assessment, the secondary supplemental privilege assessment, and the surcharge on each bed in a nursing facility to make each permanent; and (2) require Medicaid reimbursement of nursing facilities to be in accordance with Chapter 560-X-22, Alabama Administrative Code, as existing on May 1, 2026.
