What it does
This act amends Sections 11-43-144, 36-30-40, and 36-30-41, Code of Alabama 1975, to add Parkinson’s Disease to the list of occupational diseases for which municipal and state firefighters may receive disability benefits or, in the case of death, for which these firefighters’ dependents may receive line of duty death benefits.
