Enrolled SB 43 Establishing the month of March as Women's History Month. _______________ * Section 1. AS 44.12 is amended by adding a new section to read: Sec. 44.12.088. Women's History Month. The month of March each year is established as Women's History Month. Women's History Month may be observed by schools, community groups, and other public and private agencies and individuals with appropriate activities to honor and recognize the contributions that women have made in the history of the state and the United States.
